Which part of the plate counts?
An Indian plate like UP 32 AB 1522 has a state code, an RTO code, a series and a four-digit number. Most numerologists read only the final number (1+5+2+2 = 10 → 1). Some add every digit including the RTO code, and some add letter values too. The tool shows all three so you can follow whichever method you trust.
Getting a "fancy" registration
In India, choice and fancy numbers are allotted by the state transport department, usually through an online e-auction on the Parivahan portal, with reserve prices that rise for the most sought-after numbers (0001, 0007, 0786, 9999 and similar). In many other countries, personalised plates are sold by the licensing agency. Either way, the number is bought from the authority, not from private sellers.
FAQ
My plate root clashes with my Mulank. Should I worry?
No scientific evidence links plates to accidents or luck. Drive safely, keep insurance current, and treat numerology as a cultural preference.
Which roots are most requested for vehicles?
Among buyers who follow numerology, roots 1, 5 and 6 are frequently requested, and 4 and 8 are often avoided — but practice varies by family and region.
