Mobile number numerology
Find what your phone number adds up to, which number traditionally rules it, and whether it suits your date of birth.
How it's calculated
- Take the 10-digit number (country code removed).
- Add all digits — e.g. 9+8+7+6+5+4+3+2+1+0 = 45.
- Reduce to one digit — 4+5 = 9. That's the root.
- Compare the root with your Mulank (birth-day root) and Bhagyank (full date root) using the traditional friendly-number table.
Numerology is tradition, not science. We show every step so nothing is hidden.
What each mobile number root is said to suit

| 3 | Jupiter | Teachers, creators, advisers |
| 4 | Rahu | Technical and systems work; often treated with caution |
| 5 | Mercury | Sales, trade, media — widely considered the most "business-friendly" phone root |
| 6 | Venus | Hospitality, design, family |
| 7 | Ketu | Research, spiritual and analytical work |
| 8 | Saturn | Finance and authority; mixed reputation in Vedic practice |
| 9 | Mars | Energy, sport, service, defence |
Before you change your number
Changing a mobile number has real costs: updating banks, UPI, government IDs, two-factor logins and every contact who knows you. If you like what numerology suggests, the usual path is to add a second number for business or to pick a better root the next time you need a new connection anyway. In India, mobile number portability lets you change operator while keeping your number — it does not let you change the number itself.

FAQ
Should I include the country code?
Most practitioners use only the 10-digit national number. The tool automatically uses the last 10 digits if you enter more.
Which root is "best"?
Traditions disagree. A common rule is to choose a number whose root is friendly to your Mulank. The match score uses that rule.
Does a lucky number guarantee results?
No. There is no scientific evidence that phone numbers affect outcomes. Treat it as a tie-breaker between numbers you already like.
